COVID-19: Health Services

For anyone who may be experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, cough or shortness of breath, please contact Campus Safety at 847-622-9999. They need to be aware of the situation and will handle coordinating possible health care needs.

Student Accommodations

The success of the student is of utmost importance to the Health Center staff. If a student has a physical disability or any other special needs or circumstances that may have an impact on their studies, please visit the Student Success Center for more information and contact information.

 

Student Health Insurance

ALL undergraduate students are automatically enrolled in the Judson University Student Health Insurance plan upon beginning their first semester and every semester they are enrolled in thereafter. There is a cost for the insurance and this will automatically be charged to their student accounts.

Students may use their personal insurance plan, but must provide necessary documentation within 10 days after the first day of classes in order to waive the insurance plan and its cost.

 

Eligibility & Cost

The following categories of students who are registered for 6 or more credit hours are eligible for enrollment:

  • Undergraduate
  • Graduate Architecture
  • International
  • Music Performance Certificate

Fees for the 2020-2021 academic year are:

  • Fall 2020: $845
  • Spring/Summer 2021: $1,172

Fees for school year 2021-2022 will be available mid-June 2021.

New Students

ALL new students in the Undergraduate programs* must have certain medical forms on file with the Wellness Center before the first day of class of the semester you are entering. Failure to complete and submit these documents could result in a Health Hold on your account, which could prevent you from registering for classes.

Current Students

Current undergraduate students are required to provide proof of health insurance each Fall semester. Failure to do so could result in your automatic enrollment in the Judson University Student Health Plan, for which you will be charged to your student account.
