The Communications Office is located on the second floor of the Barton House. The Communications Office works directly with representatives from around the campus to generate communication materials.
The department distributes all press releases, coordinates publicity for many campus events to the wider community, sends out monthly e-mails about all Judson news, manages the university brand, coordinates all social media efforts, and works with many departments to provide graphic, editorial, proofreading and website materials needed for the campus. The Communications Department also partners to provide Communications for Traditional Enrollment Services. The department is also responsible for the overall branding for the university so many projects, if created by individual departments, must go through the Communications Office for branding review before being produced or distributed. Please allow plenty of time to process your projects as this is a small staff and team of student workers.

If you are having a special event on campus and believe that you have alumni stories, news stories or need PR or photo assistance, please contact us several weeks ahead of your event. We have student photographers who can be scheduled to take photos. We also have a common press release format and the media contacts to distribute your press release.
