Since employers in "corporate America" only "read" resumes for 6-7 seconds, the top third of your resume needs to highlight who you are and what you bring to the table, identifying the key elements of your "story" to catch the employers eye.

Using techniques such as a resume headline, skill or achievement highlights, related work experience, and/or internships or practicum experiences can "hook" an employer in so they call you for an interview.

Attached is another resume example. Do research resumes within your field, since resumes will differ dramatically from one field to another, so never assume a resume template works for any situation.
